Hydrovac
A safe, non-invasive cleaning method, hydro vacuum excavation (hydrovac) is an effective cleaning method that removes dust, dirt and debris using high-pressure water and industrial-strength vacuums.
Safe for any surface type, including clay and ice, hydrovac trucks can excavate up to 60 feet deep. Hydrovac excavation is used to break up hard-packed dirt and other material. The material is vacuumed into a truck through a hose and brought to a proper disposal facility.
Hydrovac is a method of land clearing that is popular because it offers minimal risk of injury or damage to operators and the environment.
Water pressure can cut through tough soil and vegetation without causing damage to people nearby and underground utilities. Instead of accidentally damaging wires and pipes with sharp metal equipment, the soil and material are softened by water and turned into a slurry which is then vacuumed away, revealing wires and pipes and keeping them intact.
